The Aqueduct of Segovia is one of the most best-preserved monuments left by the Romans...Imagine all the history & time ..I am so lucky to have seen this work of wonder. The aqueduct transports waters from Spring Fuenfría to the city & mainly to the Segovia Alcázar.
If you want to know why it is a wonder of engineering marvels, you have to remember this was built during the Roman Empire which is approximatey about 2000 years old ! Also. if you are interested in how the roman aquaduct works, you can go to this PBS Nova website (trust me its very educational & interesting)

The Alcázar of Segovia was built in the 12th century when Queen Isabella of Castile married King Ferdinand II of Aragon. During the Middle Ages, the alcázar of Segovia was the favorite residence of kings of Castile, and almost each king added new parts to the building, transforming the original fortress into a courtier residence . It is known that the castle from Walt Disney's Cinderella was inspired by the Alcazar de Segovia .
