The skyline along the Thames mixed old imperial icons side by side with the new modern architecture, forming an innovative composition which is completely eccentric. Yet the scenery never cease to amaze you & able to update the look of the city from its imperial age effortlessly & keep people excited. The skyline composition is stylishly unstoppable (new architecture keep popping among the old buildings with elegance.

In my opinion, the modern buildings did not spoil or ruine the skyline of the old traditional architechural gems like St Paul's Cathedral or the Big Ben. They keep the down town interesting ~ like the Gherkin Building, so erotic in its shape, just itself is already a conversation piece when people stroll along the riverside....
