No cake at the Fishermen's Bastion - Budapest Fovaros

I am fishing for something......

My Budapest trip was in the dreadful chilly winter but I followed my heart to make the best out of it.
A few things was on my agenda before I started out the journey & they were : the beautiful night scene of the river , the search of yummiest cake in town & look for outstanding building & sculpture in the city.

A travel guide I recommend to read before the trip is :

You will learn much more than reading those Lonely Planets or Froomers guides. It is the insider insight to Budapest with plans, maps & explanations of the architecture of this beautiful city .

I cannot write much tips over here after reading the book. I am afraid I will end up copying from it because I had learned so much from it.

You had no luck with Gerbeaud, however, it is also among the best. Laszlo. - Daubner is also good, but my favourite is AUGUSZT, not far from Gerbeaud. L.
