I never know the stones are so huge on a pyramid ! I used to think the stones in the pyramid are only like half of my height & about 3 foot in width. Wow, in reality, the stones are much bigger than I thought ! I know I was silly but who knows these things without seeing them yourself ? Look at my picture for the proportions .....How the ancient moves these stones ? & they needed so many of these stones to build this great Pyramid ? No wonder it is an ancient mystery & I totally agree it should be the NUMBER 1 Wonders of the world. It is amazing ..... |
| | The Great Sphinx of Giza I was standing at where they conducted the Sound & Light Show at night. The Pyramid of Khafre is in the background of the Sphinx. You will see lots of vendors inside & outside of the Giza Sphinx area & also a lot of tourist police. We went there late in the afternoon & we also waited over there till the Sound & light Show started. We had witnessed many vendors paying bribes to the tourist police. Those tourist police even chased after young children vendors on their money...its sad. We went to the sound & light show at night & it was great. However, since we were there in January, it was freezing cold & windy there. We rent the carpet there to watch the show and I strongly recommend others to do the same in winter ! |
| | Pyramid of Khafre This pyramid is the easiest to identify because it wears a cap on the top !! I am so tiny like an ant at the foot of the pyramid. |
