Site seeing Naples at first is stunning. When you first get here all you see are lots of people and dirty narrow streets. Then comes the second impression. Wow. You have a volcano(Mt. Vesuvius which destroy Pompeii) in plain site. There are lots of museums and historic sites in or close to Downtown. Naples is also great center of travel. It is by Capri, Ischia, Sorrento, Salerno, Almafi Coast, and only a 2-21/2 hrs from Rome. I always tell my family the driving out here is an organized disorganization...as in people here drive in the same crazy way but outsiders don't |
