We were staying in Ubeda, just a few kilometres away, and a day trip to Baeza was always on our "things to do" list. We drove in, and managed to park quite close to the historic centre, and spent the morning looking around before stopping for a quick lunch near where this picture was taken. For some strange reason, we decided to drive off into the country in the afternoon - we should have stayed and explored further, as we missed seeing a number of fine buildings.

Yes I thought it was about time I made an Andalucia page. Baeza looks interesting, pity I opted for Ubeda and in bad weather! We couldn't do or see anything!
We did the same in Baeza...didn't stay long enough. The Andelucian towns are so unique and have so much!
Andrew, gorgeous little page with brilliant photos. - It was great meeting you and Liz last weekend. :o)
Absolutely lovely! Thanks Andrew! Jen x
Once again, as happens since living in Australia, I'm often struck by the age of European buildings. There's hardly anyhthing over a hundred years old here, and not much of that. Intersting pics. Lesley
Keep hearing your name from Jenniflower so thought I'd drop by! This is a lovely page about what seems a peaceful little corner of Spain - you've captured the atmosphere really nicely
