This winter I spent 3 months in and around Tarifa, Spain. It was TTTerrific. Tarifa Town has alot to offer. The people and it's culture are one of the best I've seen. People have gathered there from all over the world and have made Tarifa their home. There is tons to do, from kiting and windsurfing, to enjoying the endless nightlife, good food and history. You just can't get bored in Tarifa. The Spanish culture in Tarifa abounds in the old town which dates back to 1292. I spent my time living in the old quarter and saw lots happening directly from my balconey. Semana Santa Week (Saint Week) with the Easter Parades, Festival Week Parades, horses and vendors, a church choir procession, a funeral march, and the Terrorista Demonstration March all went past my doorway. |
