Kavos is great if you want to drink 24/7. Me and my friend went for two weeks, which personally is way too long - a week would have been enough (plus the weather was really bad when we went!) The resort is based around groups of young adults who want to party from the minute they get off the transfer bus to the minute they leave. It is very 18-30 orientated and so the reps are just as 'up for it' as the holiday makers! There isn't a lot to do here other than drink and sunbathe! I haven't got too many scenic photos as the majority of our time was either spent in bed or out on the drink! There aren't really that many 'nice' restuarants in Kavos.....they are mainly places which serve english pub grub, as am means to soak up the alcohol and everywhere serves full english brekkies! There were (however) two really nice places to eat - but as helpful as i am - i can't really remember what they were called - i am sure one was called the Octopus or something...i will look into it, however it appeared on Bar Wars in Kavos if anyone can remember that TV programme! So, i guess you have got the picture of what kavos is like; not suitable for those looking for a nice relaxing holiday nor is it suitable for those will young children. But if you are wanting a week in the sun, with bars and nightclubs everywhere you look then Kavos is the place to go! |
