One of my bad habits that i am trying to get over is to be on time when travelling.
I was running to catch the plane from Arlanda airport (sweden) going to Copenhagen. I was also running to catch the train from Helsingor to copenhagen airport.
In other words, i was running to & from denmark which means that i didnt have time to analyse many things but i am sure i will be back again.
I stayed in Helsingor city where the ferry from sweden goes with many tourists. Helsingor is known for having the hamlet novel taken place. I was 10 minutes away from the castle.
I liked so much watching the different communities living there with so many pakistani and middle eastern.
My question was Do those peace and better life seekers (refugees)willing to change or melt with the Dans and be One? Can Anyone answer me?
Being Egyptian and used to driving in the streets of Cairo is not an advantage, by any chance, when you travel to a less populated well planned cities.
The worst thing that happened to me in Denmark was that I was driving a car at night in a very quite street with closed shops and me and brother are happy watching the dark shops. I noticed a car following us and was starting to feel unsafe. There were no cars in the street. Towards the end of the street I stopped to check who is following me. My surprise was that it was a police car and that I was driving in the walking street of Helsingor.
I love Danish Ploicemen, they are very friendly and understanding and all they had to do is laugh about this stupid crazy middle eastern African guys, but who cares what they think since i am not spending the night in jail.
Dont miss the free-fall machine in the Tivoli amusement park in Copenhagen. It was my 1st time in such a big fun fair.
- Pros:helpful people, peaceful & quite city, a mosaic of cultures
- Cons:homeless people in copenhagen
- In a nutshell:Denmark is more than cheese & Milk

The Tivoli Amusement Park in Copenhagen was a nice outlet for me and my family. Pay for all the games and wonder around.... more travel advice
