Restaurant Name: Al Omda, Gad, Shabrawi, Mataam

This is a rather clean local food restaurant. It is not for hanging out but for feeding your stomach.

The most popular food for Egyptians is "fool" , "Falafel" and Koshari.

Fool is beans and you pay 10 US cents for one nice sandwish.
Felafel is with beans (well known by egyptians as taameya),and you also pay 10 US cents for one nice sandwish.

Koshari is a mixture of maceroni, rice, garlic, beans and tomato sauce.

Favorite Dish: My favorite is the Koshari.

with One dollar in such restaurant you will be more than satisfied with the quantity and quality of the food
Again this is not the cheapest yet since it is a higher ranked place because it picks nice locations which means higher rent.

Dont miss the normal restaurants as well , You will easily spot them out if you are wondering in many streets of Egypt. It is a small shop with a tall hill of rice on a big dish and the man is filling thousands of sishes every day.

So by thinking in the above mentioned terms you should be sure that no one will die from hunger in Egypt thanks to the fool, taemya and koshari.

This place is amazing in comining together the taste of the food and the taste of the place that keeps you with nothing but a taste of quality and happiness.
It is kind of dimmed lighting place for more privacy while eating and drinking. It serves local egyptian dishes with a morroccon style. They play good oriental music. They have a small bar as well. They also offer shisha inside the place. Dont miss it.

Dont forget to reserve other wise you might wait sometime on the bar and will get drunk.

Favorite Dish: Bamia (akra) , Molokheya and Fattah.

Restaurant Name: Kastan Sea Food Restaurant

This Cairo branch of the restaurant has been established to continue their success in Port Said city. It is a 2 stories place. The Chefs are very well experienced and all you have to tell them is your budget and the number of people sharing the meal.

Favorite Dish: I have tried a variety of dishes such as grilled shrimps, Aroos fish grilled the frensh way, Clams and sea food rice and soup. They were very delicious that i couldnt stop my jaw from working eventhough i know i was full.
