"Entrance to the New Frest" Burley by MikeStacey

Burley Travel Guide: 5 reviews and 6 photos

Burley is a quaint village, right on the edge of the New Forest. The village offers tourists virtually everything they require. There is a fine pub (Queen’s Head) offering good food at affordable prices, and also a good range of beers. If you fancy going into the forest to get away from it all, then you can hire bicycles from a shop around the back of the pub. There are around 10 to 15 shops in the village selling a wide range of things from your touristy souvenirs to fine antiques

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Relaxing place to spend a lazy day taking in the Forest.
  • Cons:Can be a bit bleak in bad weather
  • In a nutshell:Beautiful Surrounding countryside
