Stuttgart Travel Guide: 800 reviews and 1,615 photos
We actually live in a small town called Mittelstadt. It has about 10 stores, 2 buslines, and 2 stop lights. It is 19 mins. drive to Reutlingen and 15 to Tubingen. The Neckar is just around the corner and there are mazes of amazing bike paths around the bend also.
This is the largest town closest to us by bus. It has a market every Tuesday and Saturday. There are alot of shops and a main train station where there are alot of restaurants.
This is one of the many castles in Germany. This one is near the town of Hanau. It's just south of Stuttgart. It's worth a trip to see it. See my pages for more info. Or just head toward Hanau. You can't miss it.

Glad you enjoy living near Stuttgart. I've been to Böblingen and Esslingen on business, but never went to the castle you mentioned.

Good information about the Getränke store! The system can be very confusing, even to Germans.
My Mom's family is from near Tubingen and oddly enough it's one area of Germany I have explored very little. Food sounds great but what about the beer?
