Karon Beach is a beach about lkm long and runs into the Kata Beach.
I usually stay here twice a year. It is about 40 mins from the airport and 15 mins from Patong. I like this area as it is quiet and yet still within easy reach Patong and Phuket Town.
There are numerous hotels in and around the area and some new ones being built along the beach road to Kata. There are also a lot of guesthouses which are good value for money. I have stayed at the Islandia twice but now use gh close by. There is the usual array of shops,tailors etc and two ATMs on the Patak Road, inernet facilities and travel agents. |
