"Corozal" Corozal District by El_Cookie

Corozal District Travel Guide: 17 reviews and 20 photos

I spent a couple of nights here. I stayed at a small hotel/hostel called Corozal homestay or something like that. It was owned by a guy from the middle east. I think he was from Pakistan. Very nice guy but you had to leave or stay in your room while they prayed there. It didn't bother me since I spent most of the time out on the streets taking pictures and interacting with the locals. It is about half a block form the bus station. There is a sign that points you in that direction. What surprised me was that a lot of businesses where owned by Chinese.
