My brother and I took a four day road trip to Montreal in September of 2001. Are main intent was to take in our beloved Philadelphia Phillies against the Montreal Expos at Olympic Stadium. Sadly we will no longer be able to make this trip again since Major League Baseball no longer exists in Montreal now that the Expos were moved to create the Washington Nationals in D.C.

I am probably in the minority but I am very sorry to see the Expos go, first off Montreal was a wonderful roadtrip city with much to do and while many found Olympic Stadium to be one of the worst stadiums if not the worst stadium I found it had a retro charm that was very enjoyable.

During our trip to Montreal for just 3 dyas we also were able to see Old Montreal, the Basilica Notre Dame, the Biodome, the old Montreal Forum as well as sample some of Montreal's nightlife on the famed Rue St. Catherine.
