Much like New York's Central Park, Golden Gate Park in San Francisco offers all manner of things, a beautiful beach at its most western tip, live buffalo, soccer fields, museums, beatiful hikes even a real Japanese garden.

Pier 39: See the Sea Lions

|
Once you get near Fisherman's Wharf you begin to hear the barking. That barking is coming from the very famous Pier 39, home to the many sea lions that call this Pier their home. Though I was told the locals don't always find them that charming as a tourist the were pretty cool, laying in the sun. barking loudly, fighting, swimming it is all there for you to see.
