Some highlights of the trip include:

-Getting to drive across the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time.

-Hanging off the end of a cable car flying down one of San Francisco's faumous hilly streets.

-Getting delicious Dim Sum for the first time in San Francisco's Chinatown (since then it has become one of my favorite meals and have a new favorite place now at home in Philadelphia).

-Walking through the craziness that is Haight Street straight thru to the beginning of Golden Gate Park and then proceeding to take the entire afternoon to walk the entire park all the way to its end point on SF's most westernmost point at Ocean Beach.

-The wild scene and sounds of Pier 39 and all those barking or sleeping seals depending on the time of day.

-The fun of Fisherman's Wharf, including some outstanding Clam Chowder I got from a vendor.

The number of times I got great Sourdough bread all over the city.

The view and photo ops from the Marin Headlands Park at the North end of San Francisco. Honestly you have to work hard to take a bad picture at this spot. I love the one above I snapped from this spot.
