Boston - Faneuil Hall & Samuel Adams Statue (2006)
Travel Dates: June 30 - July 4 2006, September 23-25 2006, November 11-13 2006.

Boston (pronounced "baw-stin") was my first visit to the United States in 16 years. Why so long for a return trip? Err... Check my Cancun pages; that'll explain where I was spending most of my free North American vacation time.
What I found was an amazingly clean, friendly, and skinny city. Yes, "skinny"! Unbeknown to me at the time, Massachusetts is ranked #3 out of the states with the lowest obesity rates in the country. However, with all the seafood and chowder, I think I still managed to put on a few pounds.
Boston Chowda (2006)

You's Guys Wanna Cuppa Wicked Good Chowdah?

Yeah, the lexicon is funny and the colourful expressions are almost endless. Boston is a town steeped in a unique culture of friendly people, important US history, and truly amazing food. (Please ignore the Boston Tea Party "steeped" reference in the last sentence--it wasn't intentional.)
I'm still working on this page...

Recommended Movies: The Boondock Saints (1999), Mystic River (2003).
