--> SEPTEMBER 1 - 20 2004: Trip to CANADA !!!
This means that as of today and onwards I won't be seeing much of my page or email as often...
--> SEPTEMBER 25 - 26 2004: Probably ALACANT (Alicante - SE Spain coast) for the weekend!
--> OCTOBER 2004: My company is probably sending me to TURKEY (Istambul).
Thanks for stepping in. Here I'll show you a seleccion of some photos I took myself of trips I've taken.
This is the way I love to travel; together with my best friends and if I can, by CAR! This is the inside of my Astra Caravan on our way to the Czech Republich, East Germany and Poland on New Year 2004! Packed with 5 people plus baggage!
When I don't travel for leisure, I do for work. I'm very grateful to be in a job that requires travelling some times, so some places I've been to is when I went there for my job; Algeria, Italy, France and some cities in Spain.
On June 2000 I went to Sétif, Algeria. I doubt much has changed sice then. I took all my photos from a primitive digital camera (the ones that had disquettes!) stealthily inside a car, since tourists weren't very welcome... I was there on a working trip. Sétif is about 500 km east of the algerian capital, Algiers.

I went to Sevilla several times during 2002, for work, but had a great chance to roam around on the evenings and catch some beautiful views, like this one of the famous Giralda.
The name Toscana evoques a land of enchantment. It's rolling hills, coloured with vineyards, small roads and tracks bordored with dark green cypress trees, small towns with a strong medieval flair... and it's beautiful farm houses, dotting the countryside, make for a land you will want to come back again and again.
I spent the month of March 2003 there on work engagements, but thankfully had some weekend to travel around this blessed country. Firenze (Florence) is a city I should have spent a week at least, but only had a Sunday... well next time.
This tiny state surrounded by Italy is a great place to visit if you have a spare day or two. It's a very small territory comprising of lower lands, climing steeply to a tall mountain, the other side being a sharp cliff plummeting back into Italy! The view was impressive and breathtaking.

May I say this is the prettiest city I've been to? Aranjuez, even in the bleak and cold month of March 2004 looked tremendously beautiful and charming.
Former town to hold the royal vacacioning palaces and gardens, it still mantains it's splendour. The monuments there are breathtaking. The Royal Palace is well worth a visit, and don't miss the gardens adjoining it, together with the much greater park bordering the Tajo river. Hint: take a special friend with you ;)
Also, expect to come back several times, like I did, just to admire all the things you missed the last time... It's just a 30 minute hop in a commuter train from Madrid, and near Toledo also.
Toledo is 80 km from Madrid and 40 km from Aranjuez, you have to take a look at it if you're around central Spain.
It's 3 cultural-religious heritage (Christian, jewish and muslim) remains today in it's monuments and arquitecture. It boasts of one of the biggest and best mantained jewish quarters in Europe, mixing with a mighty Cathedral and several mosques and minaretes, remaining a testimony of what things were like many, many years ago.
