Vernazza is one of the small fishing villages of the Cinque Terre. It's south of the resorty Italian Riviera and worth the trip. We took a day trip from Florence to get there, which took three trains and quiet a bit of travel time, but once we got there it was magnificent. |
| | Going up One of the activities in the Cinque Terre is hiking. You can hike from one village to the next. Unfortunately, it was raining when we got there, so we only went up the hills in Vernazza. |
Amazing hillside vineyard One of the more interesting sights in Vernazza are the vineyards on the side of the mountains facing the ocean. Beautiful. | | |
