Biography By the time I was 18 years old, I had lived in four countries (Germany, Switzerland, Malaysia and Taiwan) and attended 6 schools. When I was 18, I packed two suitcases filled with treasured belongings, hopped on a plane, and moved to the United States of America. These past six years have been the longest I've ever lived in a country.
I'm 27 years old. Last year, I left my job as a marine biologist to begin a new career as a high school teacher. I teach marine biology and systems engineering II. I am an avid (albeit amateur) photographer.
Having grown up in many different countries, my parents instilled in me a love for different cultures, places, people and customs. I revel in learning and discovering new and exciting experiences, and hope to inspire others to open their eyes to the world.
Though I've been a member since 2004, I have just rediscovered VT this year in 2006. I hope to chronicle my travels and learn about new and exciting places to visit.
