The city of Gdansk is located at the mouth of the Vistula River on the Baltic Sea. Gdansk is part of the Trojmiasto, or Three-City, urban area, made up of the towns of Gdansk, Gdynia, and Sopot.

The city of Gdansk is very industrialized. And one of the former workers turned to be the icon of the city - Lech Walesa.
The city was a wealthy member of the Hanseatic League, and it's possible to see it on the different architectonical styles that exist all over the city.
I realized Gdansk still has the mystic of old days when I've found merchants and artists coming from everywhere...

Sopot

The city of Sopot is where I went in search for pubs and discos ... and I've found many. There was a pub called "Cafe nr 5" that I liked a lot.
I also went to the beach in Sopot and swam in the Baltic Sea... thought it wouldn't be possible before I try it, but after all the water wasn't so cold...

The people

It was in Poland there I found the most friendly and honest people from all the places I've been... and Polish girls they're all beautiful :))

Lovely picture from ul. Mariacka (where I will be in a month). Not only a very romantic street, also perhaps the most expensive street in Gdansk. ;o))
