This square was made honoring Admiral Nelson after his victory at the Battle of Trafalgar, in 1805 , off the coast of Spain. In the center of the square is Nelson's Column, with a statue of Nelson on the top. Four bronze lions stand at the base of the column.
The big building on the picture is the National Gallery.
