Westminster Abbey, London
Westminster Abbey is the most famous church in England. Kings and Queens of England are crowned in this gothic style church.
Westminster Abbey was hit by bombs during the 2nd World War, fortunately it wasn't seriously damaged.

Trafalgar Square, London
This square was made honoring Admiral Nelson after his victory at the Battle of Trafalgar, in 1805 , off the coast of Spain. In the center of the square is Nelson's Column, with a statue of Nelson on the top. Four bronze lions stand at the base of the column.
The big building on the picture is the National Gallery.

"Peace Triumphant and Quadriga", London
On top of the Wellington Arch lies this statue representing Peace Triumphant and Quadriga.
This statue was placed there in 1912 and was commissioned by King Edward VII.
Piccadilly Circus, London
No visit to London is complete without seeing the West End and the bright lights of Piccadilly Circus.

Change of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, London
This spectacle is officially known as Guard Mounting and definitely one of the things to see in London, besides it's free.
It is wise to arrive early to get a good location to watch it and there's no need to stand in front of Buckingham Palace to enjoy the ceremony.

Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster, London
The Houses of Parliament more properly called the Palace of Westminster. The Gothic masterpiece that are the present Houses of Parliament, were built between 1840 and 1888 .

Hyde Park, London
This park is London's largest open space. There's a lake filled with ducks that play with each other and lots of green grass ... where I layed down for a while watching the birds and the people passing by... very relaxing!
Tower Bridge, London
This beautiful bridge stands over the River Thames since 1894 and is a very recognisable bridge.
