Nice is the fifth largest city in France and lies in a semi-circle facing south. In fact is located in an ideal site, because it's protected from the northerly winds and the sea, moreover, exerts it's moderating influence.
One of my favorite things to do in Nice was to run early in the morning along the "promenade des anglais" always with the sea at my side.
Nice has a lot of monuments and historical sites to visit... and I recommend the "chateau".
