Venice appears to be there only for the tourist it can draw and the money it brings in. There are few people actually living there any more and of course the city is sinking in the Adriatic Sea but it is hard to believe that it won't be rescued as too much history and tradition are there. It is breathtaking and impressive to see but the preservation seems to have spouted resentment.

Another romantic spot. They seem to be everywhere you turn in this city. You have to use bridges to get anywhere unless you are in a water vehicle.
