"Naryn - they know how to have fun!" Naryn by Claire78

Naryn was unexpectedly fun - and pretty much untouched! A typical Kyrgyz town set against stunning, barran mountains with a limpid blue river running through the town. A friendly homestay with a local teacher and a cafe where we all got up to dance after supper! En route from Lake Issy Kul to Oash - but obviously a route that not many people take!

Very friendly children all over the place calling out "Hello! Where you from!" and laughing and pointing, don't think they see tourists very often!

The local cafe recommended in the Lonely Planet was tasty, and a great way to meet the locals....!
