Hamming it Up in Sta. Monica Beach

Sta. Monica Beach
This is where dreams of becoming famous can come true!

If you read my article How to act famous in Los Angeles and visit its top sights for free, you will know how to get to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Sta. Monica Beach, Universal Studios and Beverly Hills without using a car.

I feel like singing Sheryl Crow's "All I Wanna Do."

All I wanna do is have some fun
I got a feeling I'm not the only one
All I wanna do is have some fun
I got a feeling I'm not the only one
All I wanna do is have some fun
Until the sun comes up over Santa Monica Boulevard

Take the Rapid Bus for a faster travel to Sta. Monica Beach! Hey, that will give you more time to not only sunbathe but also to try the rides in Pacific Place or to take trapeze lessons.
Chris Burden's "Urban Light"

Museum Row along Wilshire Blvd.

Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is one of the many museums that lined Wilshire Blvd. The trip to the museums is my pit stop to Sta. Monica Beach. LACMA's "Urban Light" is in the picture. I badly need one of these lamps in the street where I live, think anyone would notice if I take one? :-)
Universal Studios

LA is synonymous to Hollywood

I've been to Universal Studios in 2004 so this time I checked out the free Universal City Walk for its funky shops with neon-lit facades. The City Walk offers free concerts and movies.

How do you get here without being herded like a cow in one of the arranged tours? Let's ride the Metro Red Line and then transfer to the free shuttle to Universal City.
