Largo do Senado | Chinese New Year 2008 in Macau |
You know you've arrived Largo do Senado when you see Portuguese pavement of wave patterned stones, yellow ochre building facades and wrought-iron balconies.
Tourists mill this area because of the night market, Starbucks, Sasa, fancy restaurants and most importantly because it connects them to St. Paul's Church and St. Dominic's Church with it's Sacred Art Museum.
The tourist office is nearby so make sure to pick up useful brochures.
When you cross the street, visit the old Leal Senado building where you can find an art gallery, library and a well-kept courtyard garden. |
