I was fortunate to be able to travel to Australia on a business trip. I took some time to explore the area around and north of Sydney.
It was always a place I wanted to visit, if nothing else than to see kangaroos. I wasn't disappointed, even though I didn't have enough time to get into the outback proper.
Sydney is a friendly town and the countryside and beaches north of it are attractive.
If it weren't so far away, I would go there more often.
Lucky enough to get to see the kangaroo and her joey. The Kangaroo and the Koala, along with other native animals were in a nature reserve about an hour north of Sydney.
- Pros:Those wild animals and friendly people

Glad you loved Australia. I look for Kangaroos every time we go for a drive, love them, have them living close to home.
a whale in the harbour - hat's a bit unusual - i'm visiting because we're next to each other on the rankings this week
I hope you make it back to the LandDownUnder one of these days. Like your homeland, it has so much to offer. Glad to see you met some of the natives. We're a friendly bunch -leyle
