Lots of history for a young country. | Purple Loosestrife along Sudbury River in Concord |
Concord is the next town over from me. I drive through it every day on my way to work and often go there on the weekends to go walking. Concord is probably the most historic of the towns in Massachusetts outside of Boston. It is renown for its part in the Revolutionary war, its anti-establishment politics of Thoreau, and its contribution to America's literature. It is also a pleasant town to visit, with many great out of the way places to visit and enjoy all of the seasons. |
