Venice exceeds all of it's expectations for being different than anywhere else in the world. It is one of the most unique places that I have ever visited and surprisingly, for me, the beauty is a product of human endeavor, engineering, industry, passion and art.
I graduated from Venice High School in California, so prior to my actually visiting Venice, Italy, I had this image of Venice in my mind, just, as we all do. I am glad to say the the real Venice I experienced was much better than the one I grew up in (in most ways) and was much better than how I had imagined it to be.

Pros and Cons
