"Beautiful Rome" a Rome Travel Page by buffalo1975

My girlfriend and i had 4 nights in Rome, stayed in the Prati area, we loved it there. The place is full of spetacular historic buildings, monuments, statues etc.

The place is clean, we saw the Colloseum, Tivoli fountains and many other places that i cannot remember the name of right now.

The food was wonderful, we tended to eat away from the touristy areas and ate in local Tratorias around Prati. So much food and cheap.

We got to see the 6 nations rugby Italy v Wales, which was sold out 26000 in a great athmosphere. We then walked up the road straight after that to see some football, Lazio were home to Atalanta, we managed to get some tickets at a an ok price. 50 euros for 2.

Loved Rome and could not get it out of my head!
