Welcome to Queenstown If you go to NZ looking for snow, the best place you can stay (in my opinion) is Queenstown. The furthest slopes are approx. 1.5 hours bus ride away - you can easily organise for a bus to pick you up and drop you back to your hotel or lodge. |
Hitting the Slopes Staying in Queenstown, you have access to four main mountains for skiing & boarding: -Coronet Peak (closest) -The Remarkables (perfection) -Cardrona (awesome half pipe) -Treble Cone (most black runs)
When you need a break from the snow, the mountain lodges have log fires burning all day where you can relax with a book and a coffee... |
Other Stuff to Do -Day trip to Milford Sound -Nevis Highwire Bungy -Jet Boat Ride -Casino (small, but workable) |
