"South London Life" a London Travel Page by northeast80

Well I lived in London for three years in five different flats and had two different jobs.
I thought before I moved there, why am I doing this? I don't even like London, had only visited a handful of times. But during my time I really began to enjoy it, once I got a better job, and you really get to know a place.
I spent most of my time in the South areas of Clapham, Stockwell, Peckham, Brixton, Tooting, Tulse Hill, not venturing 'North of the river' a great deal, well you don't need to when there's everything you need around you, and it's away from the tourists, sorry I know I'm one of them now.
I left London to go travelling for a year and now I just visit for a few nights, really don't miss it I'm atraid to say, it was good to have lived there but I don't want to go back. The people, dirt, and most of all the cost for not much return. That Ken Livingston has a lot to answer for....
