Phew, finally somewhere to shower after four days in the outback, and a proper bed! We stayed a little out of the town centre which was a good idea, all the town centre hostels looked grim! We sorted out our photos, the memery cards were gettign pertty full by this point, don't use hostels facilities to do this they'll wrip you off, we found somewhere you could do it all by yourself, take as long as you want for AU$5. We had lunch up on Anzak Hill, which, once you've found it, you get great views of the city and how it is placed in its environment. I shall build seperate tips on what and where we actually went to/did. Oh and in the Lonley Planet it advertises a Date Farm to visit and have date ice cream and all sort of date derived substances, this had closed down when we got there, well the farm's still there but the shop isn't. |
