I seemed to be the only one interested in going on this excursion but once we got on the furnicular train that goes up the hill everything changed. Everyone agreed that this is a "must do thing" for anyone who goes to Penang. The view from the top is breathtaking.

On a really hot day its quite a relief to go up Penang Hill. There's the buddist temple to see, the old style carriages, the large canon & even a Bird park to visit. Watch out for the cheeky monkeys running everywhere.
