Tassie!

Beautiful. Lovely. Quaint.

Church At Port Arhur
I lurve Tasmania! The food, wine, people and scenery are simply lovely and fantastic.

I was at Tassie for about 8 days and i visited Hobart, Port Arthur, Sorell, Bicheno, Swansea and ColeBay. Thumbs up for the most amazing jams and berries ice cream from Kate's Berry Farm!!

I stayed at Sandy Bay in Hobart, totally looked after by my great B&B host, Pat. It's called Louisa's Cottage and it's a short walk to battery point, salamanca market and the shops around sandy bay.

Port Arthur is amazing. Sad History with beautiful and tranquil settings. Hard to believe that it used to house men prisoners.
View from Wineglass Bay
My most memorable experience in Tassie....I had a rather tough time trekking around Freycinet. It was a almost 4 hours hike and you couldn't believe me, i was totally so not prepared for the long walk. I thought i would just climb up to the wineglass bay lookout and there's it! How wrong was I !! I was in my boots, with a 3 inch thick heel. I was so uncomfortable and almost wanted to give out halfway. Everyone was like breezing past me. I had to take like a 10 mins rest after every 30mins of walk. So embarassing...But i did make it and boy i felt so proud of myself.

The shoes didn't make it though, by the time the day tour company sent me back to me B&B, i realised that my favourite pair of boot was spoilt, the heel was broken.
