Boat Quay: Jazz Lover? Then See U At Jazz @ Southbridge Boat Quay & Clarke Quay Review

Yup, i'm very much into live music, be it hard rock, blues, R&B or jazz! =)

This place is very very sexy...the music, the crowd, the limited space, the cosy ambience...and of course the music again. It's very soulful and true-blue jazz.

But unfortunately i'm not very good with names of these fantastic jazz players. They are pretty big and famous in this industry. Why don't you go visit and find out for me??

Another it's very very crowded. You will need to come at around 7pm or earlier to get a seat. Bear in mind, this place is not very big. Go up and you will see what i mean.

Long Bar @ Raffles Hotel: Throw Peanuts ALL Over the Floor!!!!

It has often been said that this is the ONLY place in Singapore where you would not be fine for littering...=P How true!!!

You can throw the peanuts all over the floor at Long Bar. This is one of my favourite place to chill out on friday evening. Not that i'm a litterbug . =P

But seats are really hard to get on weekend evenings, esp after 8pm, and they generally do not accept reservations, well, if you are a Raffles Hotel's guest, i suppose it shouldn't be a problem. =) Afterall it's a 5 star hotel. =)

If you wanna enjoy Live Music, try to find a seat on the upper deck. The group is very good and very friendly. Songs dedications are accepted.

Seats are pretty comfy unless you are sitting at the bar, it's very living room concept, balinese arm chairs and sofa with cushions and tropical plants, and with leaf-shaped fans swaying on top of you...Very very nice ambience. And not forgetting the peanut shells on the floor, now how tropical can you get????
