    • Loved the room, loved the food, loved the location, loved service, and loved the price. Yes the building, rooms and public spaces are a bit dated, but who cares because the staff was the friendliest I have ever encountered. Clean rooms, clean lobby, clean everywhere. I paid 110 us dollars in November for a Nile view room. If you are going to Cairo you must stay at the Nile Hilton. All the other hotels popped into, the lobbies were packed (to the point of not being able to walk through) with tour groups. The Nile Hilton's public spaces were never crowded or rushed.

    Unique Qualities: The entire staff seemed to know my name after the first day!!

    • While I didn't stay here, I did wander though the opluent lobby on my way to dinner in the revolving restaurant. It has the best lobby in Cairo and even better views from the restaurant. The food was very good, as was the service, but one goes for the views after the sun sets, worth the taxi ride.
