LOG-BOOK. 23 December 2000: fly from Venice to Atalanta (Georgia), visit to the commercial center and covered market of Atalanta. - 24 December: deleted the 10 am Air Delta fly from Atalanta to San Josè (Costa Rica) because the pilot don't wants to do overtime work. We start 18pm after a whole day in airport. - 25 December: first walk in the forest under heavy rain, then we take the Rainforest aerial tram (Braulio Carrillo). Puerto Limon, fish supper at the Restaurant La Fuente. - 26 December: by motor boat 86 Km of channels from Moin to Tortughero, the best way to see a lot of wild animals on the banks. By Canoa we saw a rare peacock. - 27 December: Back to Moin, rainbow and good weather. Volcano Irazu, the highest of Costa Rica. Again the capital San Josè. - 28 December: Volcano Poas. Sarcì market. Termal pools. - 29 December: Rio Fort fall. Lake tour by ship, visibles active Poas eruptions. - 30 December h.6 am: three hour trekking in Monteverde natural park. In Tamarindo beach no free rooms, we sleep on ground in the next village. - 31 December: Brasilito, not special playa. Frugal supper of fish. Hour 11 pm we saw gigant turtle laying eggs on the beach! At the last minute we celebrate the New Year eve in a disco of Tamarindo. - 1st January 2001: Playa Sàmara, <A HREF="http://www.hotelgiada.net">Hotel Giada</A>. - 2 January: way to Quepos on the Pacific Ocean side. - 3 January: Manuel Antonio national park, trekking in the forest and emerald green sea (Wow, I was so happy). - 4 January: Carrara natural park, 30 crocodiles on the river banks. - 5 January: San Josè, museum of the Oro precolombino - 6 January: Atalanta, not simply a landing because we visit the <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/motore_veneto/Coca_Cola.jpg">Coca Cola</A> museum and the Martin Luter King memorial. - 7 January: Rome and <A HREF="http://www.virtualtourist.com/m/.32412/191/">Vatican</A> city visit.
