It must be something in the water HI world.
Well I was born in rainy Ireland. Living in Europe as a child allowed my family and I to travel quite a bit throughout the continent. I was introduced to traveling as a young child and can't seem to stay put as a result. I moved to the states when I was 8yrs old. I have lived in Ny, Kentucky, New Jersey, Florida, and California. Until a few years ago my main International travel destination was Ireland. I will always have that culture in my roots.
I strayed from the usual patteren when I went backpacking in Brazil last year. It was about time.
One of my favorite aspects of traveling, besides the food, would have to be the moments when I find myself toatly surrounded by an experience that would only happen in that place. Maybe its live music in a pub, or walking barefoot in a rainforest its worth taking the time to see it all. |
