This little hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were newly refurbished and the bathroom was large with a huge new tub. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They did have an interest in pushing the free murano trip though, which we declined. I would recommend this 3 star hotel to anyone. I don't know the value of the room as it was included in the price of the tour we took.
Unique Qualities: The hotel sat on a small canal with a restaurant right next door. Our room overlooked a tropical courtyard to the back. The breakfast was one of the better we had while in Italy. Nothing fancy but at least some choices.

Directions: The hotel is located directly across from the bus station, but far enough away that noise and people are not an issue. It's also a 3 minute boat ride to the train station or you can walk to the bridge to get there, about 10 minutes.
