I stayed there for only a night in April 2004. I was told by my teachers that it was a 5 star hotel, so I was looking forward to it. However, when I arrived it seemed to be more like a 2 star hotel in Hong Kong...
There was a long walk to the hotel room which was annoying, but there was a pleasant garden/balcony area near the pool which was all very well maintained.
The lobby had shops, restaurants and a cake shop, all way overpriced, plus a dodgy currency exchange place.
We had breakfast at the hotel, buffet style. It was ok, medium sized selection, good cakes and pastries quite basic.
Unique Qualities: You could see the Pyramids from the hotel room window/balcony.
They provided candles and matches to have an evening on the balcony.
