Nothing like home I went to Baltimore this weekend for a family reunion. My mother, the oldest of 7, grew up on Baltimore Street in what used to be a nice neighborhood of row houses. Now its pretty scummed out. But overall, Baltimore was a nice place to visit. Different to say the least. I'm sure I"ll be back for more family functions (Grandma turns 95 next year). |
Inner Harbor The Inner Harbor. Used to be like the "inner city." Once seedy and dirty, its turning into quite a trendy place to visit, shop, eat crabs, have a drink. We stayed at a lovely hotel on Fell's Pointe, but it was such a short visit we did not get to fully enjoy the shopping and restaurants this area had to offer. |
