I've been in Germany for a little over two years and have had the opportunity to travel all over Europe. Many of the places I've visited are or will be touched on through this web site. That's what this whole thing is about isn't it? Finding new places and meeting new people. It's amazing how many different kinds of people post their stories here.

If these pictures cause just one person to take a gamble and book that trip they've been thinking about then I am a happy guy. It used to take considerable persuasion to get me too far from my comfort zone but these days I can't wait for the next excursion.

Of all the places I've been I have to say the German Alps are easily my favorite. A hike through some of these passes leads you to some of the most beautiful landscapes on earth. This is my therapy for any kind of stress, bad day, or even a bad year. An afternoon out here helps me find balance.

There are great opportunities for every level of hiker out here. There are also opportunities for more high adventure activities as well.
