I visited Madrid for a week in July 2005. Although it was very hot with temperatures up to 40C, I had a very pleasant stay. I felt that to admire the city more, you had to live in it for sometime as the Spanish culture is very rich and amazes me always. I spent the weekend in Barcelona but would prefer Madrid as it is more beautiful, even though there is much less to see than in Barcelona. |
