Oslo and not a troll in sight!

by audtrikat - last update: Aug 12, 2004

Oslo is a gorgeous city...modern architecture, clean, crisp with staight lines. It seems very planned and well maintained. It's incredibly easy to walk around this city...it's compact. The only time we took public transport was to go visit the Observation Tower up in the hills. It's very easy to navigate your way around and you'll find loads of hidden treasures just wandering the streets. There's some great outdoor markets to be found, some odd and gorgeous parks to discover and the people are incredibly friendly.

And...they're mad into their slot machines - they're everywhere. In the Kiwi Market there's about 4 or 5 of them...the men play the machines, the women shop! They're in the main train station...everywhere there's room to stand one, it's there!!! It's mental!!!
