The Similan Islands consists of nine islands running in a north/south grouping, with Koh Bon and Koh Tachai recently added to the park.
The granite islands are postcard-perfect images of paradise, covered in tropical jungle and touting beaches of porcelain-white sand.
As if this were not enough, the views under the water surface are even more impressive. This area is the best dive site in Thailand, and one of the best in the world.
National Geographic has acclaimed the Similans to be one of the ten most beautiful places in the world.

Although I like to snorkel, I know I'm not brave enough to dive. Your diving experiences have let you see amazing sea life that others can only dream of seeing! Great descriptions and photos! |
