Restaurant Name: 29 Palms Inn
After a full day in Joshua Tree National ParK, we went to eat at the 29 Palms Inn.
Accommodation there is in small adobe cottages, painted in different colours beautifully reflecting the hues of dusk on the National Park and Mojave Desert.
The restaurant adjoins the Inn's pool area which had a slightly run down look.
Service in the restaurant was prompt, efficient and friendly. The bar is used by a few local people and the whole place has an old fashioned feel - it was so good to escape the shiny plastic of fast food chains!
We had an excellent meal with fresh ingredients (vegetables produced in the garden) good meat, fish and pasta dishes and really good salads (try the oasis dressing, it's superb).
