What a delightful surprise! Easy to get there too! We travelled by train from our local station - one easy change - London Paddington - Tube to Waterloo - Eurostar. We seemed to be in Lille in no time at all.
It was a hot and sunny afternoon and once we had left the station and the rather unattractive modern shopping centre behind us it was a short walk to our hotel in the old town. |
